Ryan Saunders is a woodworker and teacher of over 13 years, currently based in Basingstoke, Hampshire, UK.

Having worked extensively across the UK and USA, he has worked alongside many woodworkers including Derek Jones, Megan Fitzpatrick, Chris Schwarz and Phil Lowe as well as Deneb Puchalski and Thomas Lie-Nielsen of Lie-Nielsen Toolworks. He uses machinery where efficiency dictates but specialises in teaching traditional hand tool work to enable students to build a fundamental knowledge of woodworking (as well as how wood... works), to increase their versatility.

 

Ryan is a friendly, knowledgeable and passionate woodworker who offers One-to-One instruction in his own dedicated workshop in Basingstoke, as well as offering a range of other Classes throughout the year.
